The Word of Notch: Hey, Bethesda! Let's settle this!

This is something I really felt the need to reblog. Here’s the back story: Notch (the creator of Minecraft) is developing a game called “Scrolls”, Bethesda found out about it and decided that people would too easily confuse the game with the popular “Elder Scrolls” franchise. In turn Bethesda filed a lawsuit against Notch… Notch then turns around and challenges Bethesda to a Quake match vs each companies best players. If Notch wins, Scrolls will live on… if Bethesda wins, Scrolls will have a name change. My thoughts, Bethesda might have become too big of a company to accept the challenge. It might be within Bethesda’s best interest to accept though for fear of backlash from the gaming community.

Remember that scene in Game of Thrones…
